Bright Lights is culmination of previous Wolfpack efforts. Dating back to the summer of 2014 during a studio bender between Rayne Drop and Aaron Herzog. Knocking kick drums over top a choppy acoustic rhythm brings Wolfpack's journey full circle. Although originally created during their reign prairie dominance the track was shelved for reasons unknown while Wolfpack took a much needed breather.
Everything comes full circle lyrically while Chuck and Mer touch on the issues the group faced and pushed through together, what ultimately pushed them to breaking point and what's brought the pack together, better and stronger than ever.
While the verses reach a level of subject matter most emcees may be too insecure to touch on (see "failure"), the Aaron Herzog chorus that ties the two verses together is a bold prediction of what's yet to come (see "success").
